Established in 2011, Reimbursement Navigators is solely owned and operated by Jolie Gischer, a service-oriented professional with 25 years of diverse experience with account receivables, reimbursement, and market access supporting healthcare providers and product manufacturers in specialized areas including Wound Care, Regenerative Medicine, Infectious Disease Diagnostics & Primary Care Medicine.
Reimbursement Navigators offers analyses, strategic planning, direction and expert tactical work to leadership teams of commercial sales organizations. Product positioning that expands U.S. market access for patients; removal of provider reimbursement barriers; and creating tools that showcase a product's access story through appropriate utilization is at the heart of our work.
Founded by a 'Xennial,' Reimbursement Navigators is fueled by the optimistic and purpose-driven intention of protecting the Trust Fund for future generations of beneficiaries. A researcher, navigator and engineer at heart, Jolie holds
MA (2005) and BA (2003) degrees in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience from the
University of MO-St. Louis.
Highly driven and able to empathize with device leadership teams and their customers alike, Jolie has held director-level roles creating operational systems for healthcare manufacturers and managed high-performing provider and patient hotline support teams responsible for verifying coverage and reversing medically necessary insurance denials. She has achieved career success through advocacy of favorable policy legislation and product coverage policies among government and commercial health plans and eliminated many reimbursement obstacles for healthcare providers and patients. Prior to entering the Medical Device space in 2008, Jolie managed medical billing and collections (A/R) for internal medicine, pediatricians, and air ambulance providers since 2000.
With a primary U.S. residence in Southern California, Jolie enjoys catering to her senior German Shepherds, urban hikes, brunch, reading, and creating art through various mediums. She hopes to travel more domestically and abroad in the years ahead.
